A lovely old spring house in Amarante

This charming spring house was built before 1605 very close to the old walls of São Gonçalo monastery (thus the name, "Cerca"). Nowadays is surrounded by roadas and lawns and not many people noticed it. The decoration in blue tiles is quite rare in spring houses and there is only another one known in the country, in the islands of Azores.
