Die Bergkirche St. Marien ist eine gotische Kirche mit barocker Ausstattung, die sich am nördlichen Stadtrand von Schleiz befindet. Sie diente über 400 Jahre als Begräbniskirche des Fürstenhauses Reuß und gilt als eine der sehenswertesten Kirchen im Südosten Thüringens.
In den letzten Jahren wurde die Kirche aufwändig saniert. Beeindruckend die reiche Innenausstattung. Leider eingeschränkt im Winter zu besichtigen!
The Mount St. Mary's Church is a Gothic church with Baroque interior, which is located on the northern outskirts of Schleiz. She served for over 400 years as the burial church of the Princely House of Reuss and is considered one of the most remarkable churches in the southeast of Thuringia.
