People passing into Bly, Oregon might decide to stop at this rest area just before entering town. This rest area has the minimum facilities, including two restrooms and a few picnic tables. There is also a sizable playground for kids as well a couple of horseshoe pits.
One noticeable structure within the rest area is the Balloon Bomb 'Beaver Board', one of many official historical markers produced by the Oregon Travel Information Council. There is also a relocated fire lookout tower in the back corner of the rest area and mentions that it was once located on top of a nearby mountain peak and replaced with a larger lookout tower.
Other than that, this rest area offers little else, with the exception of ample parking for larger vehicles.
