Set in a low stone walled enclosure, with a locked iron ornemental gate. Located at the junction of Conkland Hill and Claberstone Road.

I am not sure if the pump dispenses water, as the pump enclosure is locked.

The pump enclosure is near two historic monuments.
Wiston Castle and St Mary Magdalene Church, both dating fro the 11 century.
