This stylish retro blue Art*o*Mat is only the third in Minnesota. It is sponsored by the St. Cloud Arts Commission, which intends to take it on tour in the area so that many people will have the opportunity to come in contact with small affordable art pieces by a variety of artists. The Art*o*Mat is currently in a lobby of the Benedicta Arts Center at the College of Saint Benedict, in St. Joseph. It is in the northwest lobby of the BAC, the closest entrance to the Gorecki Conference and Dining Center. This location is accessible 24 hours a day The Art*o*Mat dispenses small artistic creations for $5 each. The machine takes one- and five-dollar bills. The Art*o*Mat seems to be a big hit at CSB. Some of the slots are already empty in less than two weeks. The Art*o*Mat will stay at St. Ben's through May 2013.
