This small pocket park, established to celebrate the American Bicentennial, is located at the junction of Palm Avenue, 7th Street, and California Highway 75 on the eastern side of central Imperial Beach, California.

This park is a very small triangle, located at the junction of two main thoroughfares on the eastern side of central Imperial Beach. It is merely a grassy area with a welcome sign for Imperial Beach, an El Camino Real Bell, a dedicated flagpole, and a sculpture that epitomizes the surfing mania of the city.

The plaque on one supporting column of the Welcome Sign reads:
