Timber-built with a tiled roof, these two gazebos are at the Braintree Garden Centre, part of the Wyevale Group.
The first one forms the main entrance to the whole complex and doubles as a display area. The second one is in the walkway between the 'plant' and 'hardware' areas, and again is used as a display area.
Both are of typical timber construction but with a strengthened roof to carry pantiles, commonly called Day Pantiles after the clay pantiles first bought back from Holland and Belgium as ballast in trading ships.
