Expo '67 flag, this time capsule commemorates the opening of Confederation Park on August 7, 1967 and is to be opened in 2017. This is one of at least three time capsules in this part of Confederation Park.
This time capsule and flagpole are located inside the park, to the east of the main provincial flagpole plaza and closer to the creek.
The plaque on the upright stone next to the circular flowerbed reads:
