This sign has been placed on the right of the village hall access lane just off South Street going into Bradwell from the south.
The central roundel shows the Chapel of St.Peter on the Wall in the centre with clockwise: a Thames Sailing Barge, two Brent Geese, a Tree?, Bradwell Power Station, and an RAF twin-engined plane - possibly a Mosquito - taking off from the former WW2 RAF Airfield at Bradwell Bay. The village name is relief carved above the roundel and the date 2000 below it. It's mounted on a chamfered square timber post.

Bradwell Juxta Mare is more commonly known as Bradwell-on-Sea.

The default picture was taken by Stuart Axe on a Fujifilm f50fd and is reproduced here with his permission.
