Stylized poplar trees and mountains cover this utility box. Orange and blue ribbons running along the bottom of the box refer to the pathways and the nearby Bow River. Artist Joan Shearer's title for this work is "The Fuzz Hang Here Sometimes" -- which is true!

There are three utility boxes in the immediate area painted by Joan Shearer. The other two are just a few blocks away, in two different locations.

This box is located at the SW corner of the intersection of Home Road NW and the Trans-Canada Highway (aka Hwy 1, 16th Ave NW). It's at the turnoff to Shouldice Park and is close to the Montgomery Community Association building.
