This site with thirty works was the Headquarters of an Infantry Regiment.

During WW2 this was the Regiment and Artillerie Abteilung Headquarters , in this forest there also is a Sanitätsunterstand (hospital bunker). Later on there were also Luftwaffe units stationed. Several staffs, including Waffen-SS, occupied this HQ during the war.
After the war, around 1950 the complexes were claimed by the Dutch Ministry of Defence and specially by the Air Force as a Headquarters and later a Communication Centre in the NATO network. Therefore many bunkers were changed or modified for use during the Cold War till 1976.
Later on the bunkers were used as Emergency Headquarters for one of the Government Ministries.

SBB is the owner now, and sometimes they organise guided tours.
Iedere zaterdag tussen 18 mei en 24 september kun je tussen 11-13 en tussen 13.15-15.15 uur in de bunkers kijken. Zo kom je alles te weten over dit geheimzinnige complex.
