This Freestanding Arch is located at one entrance to the mosaic and fountain that is the central element of the Pearl of the Pacific Park on the very southwest end of Shelter Island at San Diego Bay in San Diego, California.

This attractive arch is actually part of the artwork titled 'Pearl of the Pacific' that is the main feature of this park by the same name. It is lacy metalwork supported on two tapered concrete columns. This integrated piece of art was designed by James T. Hubbel of Julian, California assisted by architectural students from San Diego and sister cities Vladivostok, Russia, Tijuana, Mexico, and Yantai, China.
