There are more than 300 spaces for bicycles in this two-tiered tender. There are six rows, with 28 double slots in each. On a Sunday afternoon this was at least 2/3 full. There is an illustrated sign to give directions on how to mount the bicycles on the upper tender.

The Boon Lay MRT Station serves the suburban Jurong area and is adjacent to the beautiful Jurong Lake Park with its impressive Japanese Garden and Chinese Garden. There is a Seven-Eleven store here adjacent to the bicycle tender.
