US Coast & Geodetic Survey Bench Mark U421 (1963) is located at the described coordinates, about 39 feet north of DP&L pole #52547 and about 6 feet from the edge of the road.

Water and mud from the bay had washed over the weeds around the bench mark making it a challenge to find.

The bench mark, cement base and witness post are in good condition.
