Located at 4110 Main Street in downtown Chincoteague Island, VA, the 3-story former Accomack Ancient Free & Accepted Masons Lodge 243 building displays a white corner stone with a date of December 8, 1892 - over a 120 years ago! From across the street, you will see another white stone marked "Masonic Temple 1921" above the second story windows.
Did the Masons add to their building 29 years after it was built - or was the lodge formed in 1892 and the building built in 1921?
