Built in 1905 by Baldwin Locomotive Works of Philadelphia, PA for the Oregon Railroad and Navigation Company (O.R.&N.). Steam Locomotive 197 is a Pacific type (4-6-2). Over time, the O.R.&N. was absorbed into the Union Pacific and the 197 became the U.P. 3203.
