Carrousel Palace de Nice attracts numerous children and those young at heart that pass through this park on the way to or from the beach. With two levels of rides this carousel has great opportunities to see out over the park, to the beach or down at your sister or brother who is riding below.
Along the top of the carousel there are two tailed mermaids that look down upon the riders. A mermaid is a legendary aquatic creature with the tail of a fish and the upper body of a woman. They appear in many cultures worldwide, including the Near East, Europe, and Asia. Mermaids are sometimes depicted in association with floods, storms, shipwrecks, and drowning. However, in some traditions they can be benevolent, bestowing boons or falling in love with humans.
