"Tontitown, AR, April 6, 2002: Father Joseph Correnti, 56, of Tontitown died Wednesday, April 3, 2002 in Fayetteville.He was born March 18, 1946 in Kansas City, Mo., to Joseph and Bertha Correnti.
He was ordained to the priesthood in 1972.His early assignments in Arkansas included associate pastorates at Immaculate Conception Church in Fort Smith and Our Lady of the Holy Souls in Little Rock.He also served as pastor of St. Agnes in Mena; and later as pastor of St. Anne's Church, North Little Rock.
At the time of his untimely death, he was serving as pastor of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Tontitown."
