This GIS control mark is located along the Cascade Lakes Highway about a third of a mile west of the Deschutes National Forest boundary. The cap is cemented on to a boulder located about 300 feet south of top of the cut on the south side of the highway, SSE of benchmarks W369 and W369 RESET. Deschutes County set this cap and marked it GIS 36.
