" "Cabo Wabo"
I've been to Rome, Dallas, Texas
Man, I thought I'd seen it all
Around the world, search in every corner
Man, I thought I'd hit the wall
There's a sleepy town, south of the Border
If you go there once, you'll be there twice
Lots of pretty girls, coming by the dozens
The white sand sure makes a tan look nice
We can crash on the beach
You know I wanna make love in the sea
We gotta try a little dance, so Cabo Wabo
It's alright by me
Come on, let me take you down
I will show you around
Let me take you down
Face down in Cabo
Kissing the ground
Land's end, you'd have to see it
Ain't no picture ever say it right
Walkin' the streets doing that ole, the Cabo Wabo
Place comes to life every night
I wanna crash on the beach
You know I wanna make love in the sea
It's all right there
We don't have to chase it
Fits paradise to a T
Come on, let me take you down
I will show you around
Let me take you down
Face down in Cabo
Kissing the ground
We drink Mescal right from the bottle
Salt shaker, little lick a lime, ohhh
Throwin' down, down tryin' to reach the bottom
Where the guave worm, well he's mine all mine
Come on, crash on the beach
You know I wanna make love in the sea
Go try a little dance, so Cabo Wabo
It's alright by me
Let me take you down
I will show you around
Let me take you down
Face down in Cabo
Kissing the ground
Face down,
Down in Cabo
Take me down,
Down to Cabo
Face down,
Down in Cabo
Doin' the Cabo Wabo
Take me down,
Down to Cabo
Come on, get it, get it"
"Cabo San Lucas was just the end to a long dusty road from Tijuana before Sammy and his Cabo Wabo Cantina got here. A sleepy town with a love for fishing and relaxation. Now, the locals and tourists fish for a good time on land and try not to relax too much! They start and end the journey with the Cabo Wabo Cantina – where land ends and the party begins!
Long before Cabo Wabo Tequila there was the Cabo Wabo Cantina, Sammy Hagar’s world-famous nightclub and restaurant that almost single-handedly established Cabo San Lucas as a major vacation destination. Vibrant with activity and laid back in its attitude, the Cantina is a must-visit for vacationers to the area and is hands-down the best (some would say, the only) place to see live music in town, with different bands every week. During the day, the Cantina’s restaurant serves some of the finest food on the Baja peninsula, with custom dishes and local cuisine ranging from fresh seafood to authentic Mexican food and everything in between." Cabo Wabo, the cantina that is, is located at Lazaro Cardenas and Vicente Guerrero, near the Cabo San Lucas harbor. Of course, in addition to food, drink, and live entertainment, the Cabo Wabo Cantina also has an extensive souvenir shop, reminiscent of a Hard Rock Cafe.
