To celebrate Taihape's Centennial these hand decorated and inscribed tiles have been placed in the Triangle of Taihape, a gardened courtyard surrounding the town clock in the centre of town. Each individual tile is different and has been crafted and signed by local people of the Taihape district.

What an extraordinary and unique way to involve the Taihape folk in their Centennial celebrations. These tiles will be in place for their children and their children's children to see and celebrate their family heritage in Taihape.
