Description: Edvard Grieg (15 June 1843 – 4 September 1907) was the famous Norwegian composer. His most well known work is the music he composed for Henrik Ibsen's play Peer Gynt of which probably everyone knows the prelude Morning Mood (Morgenstemning).
Grieg died at the age of 64 after a long illness. His ashes were buried in a mountain crypt near his house, Troldhaugen, together with those of his wife Nina.
