Native Coloradan Judy Messoline was born in Wheat Ridge in 1945. She and her partner moved to Hooper, Colorado in 1994, where they attempted a living at ranching but failed. Because of the reputation of the San Luis Valley for its cattle mutilations and UFO sightings, she was prompted to build a UFO Watchtower, which has become a world-famous attraction and the magnet for more mysterious activity.
