After her cattle ranch failed, Judy Messoline created the UFO Watchtower in 2000 inspired by the many strange and unusual sightings in the San Luis Valley. In fact, Judy's wish is that a UFO would land here so they could chat.

The tower consists of a viewing platform above a dome-shaped gift shop and provides unobstructed views of the entire valley. The site has attracted visitors from all over and even gained world-wide attention. [visit link] Admission is $2 per person or $5 per car and the attraction is open year round. Even if you don't experience a UFO sighting, the views are unparalleled and you can get your fill of the strange and unusual from the stories recorded in the gift shop.
