Although the "tower" is not that high, it offers a grand panoramic view of the San Luis Valley bordered on all sides by majestic mountains. The UFO Watchtower, constructed by rancher Judy Messoline, is a unique attraction inspired by the many strange and unusual sightings throughout the valley. The lookout platform is constructed of a see-through wire mesh (including the floor) and tubular frame and is accessible by climbing a short (one-story) staircase. Admission to the tower is $2 per person or $5 per car.
