EN: The forerunner of this fountain was already mentioned in 1380. This wooden fountain was replaced in 1530 by a new one made of stone and decorated with the statue of Samson and Delilah, the original statue was given to the Museum of History and replaced by a copy in 1914. The current trough dates from 1846. This fountain was in a different location and was moved to its present location until 1936.
DE: Der Vorläufer dieses Brunnens wurde bereits 1380 erwähnt. Dieser Holzbrunnen wurde 1530 durch einen neuen aus Stein ersetzt und mit der Statue von Samson und Delila versehen; diese Originalstatue wurde 1914 ans Historische Museum abgegeben und durch eine Kopie ersetzt. Der heutige Trog stammt aus dem Jahr 1846. Dieser Brunnen stand an einem anderen Ort und wurde erst 1936 an seine heutige Stelle verschoben.
