When I was a boy growing up in rural Alberta, Stan Reynolds was already a legendary pack rat. Reynolds began by accumulating old cars, trucks, tractors and agricultural equipment when nobody else wanted them, and by 1955 an impromptu private museum (The Reynolds Museum) was opened to exhibit some of his collection.

The Reynolds Museum has grown substantially since then and includes everything from aircraft to zoological specimens. Here you'll find a wide variety of vintage automobiles, motorcycles, bicycles, trucks, stationary engines, tractors, agricultural implements, aircraft and industrial equipment. It has one of the largest collections of agricultural implements and tractors in Canada and one of the largest and most eclectic collections of cars and trucks, as well. They have hundreds of items not yet on display.

Stan Reynolds passed away on February 13, 2012 at the young age of 88. When he passed, the remainder of his collection went to the Reynolds Museum, so it will continue to grow for many years. Read about Stan here - (visit link)

Canada's Aviation Hall of Fame is the on-site partner of the Reynolds Alberta Museum in Wetaskiwin. It also got its start when Stan donated 60 aircraft to start the Hall of Fame. The objective of the Hall of Fame is to salute and acknowledge both the people and the aircraft that created aviation history in Canada.
