This ancient village cross is to be found on the small village green at the junction of Main Street and Station Road.

The village cross is now Grade II listed and is probably C15th in origin. Made of gritstone, it has five circular stone steps (now linked with iron staples) leading to an octagonal base then a shaft graduating from square to octagonal. The cap is circular with a conical top, all that remains of its original cross. All the stones are much weathered.

The cross is on the small village green at the centre of the village at the junction of Main Street and Station Road.
