One of the interesting features of this small church is that they have a Biblical Herb and Flower Garden located on the grounds to the left of the main entrance. Their church history notes that the building dates back to 1913, although the Episcopal Church obtained the property in 1954. They do have the traditional red doors, which is a nice feature.

The following information comes from their web page:

"Our church building dates back to around 1913 and is one of the oldest existing houses of worship in the city of Clanton. The building has been owned by the Episcopal Church since 1954. However, from 1970 to 1995, there was no active congregation and the facilities served as a private day care center, providing early education to hundreds of Chilton County children. Trinity was re-established in 1995 and approved as a permanent parish in 2009. Trinity is now a community of 80 active members and associates and we have plenty of room for you. COME check us out this next Sunday morning."

"A Biblical Herb and Flower Garden at Trinity Episcopal Church came about after having seen such a garden at Bruton Church, Williamsburg, Va. In the late spring of 2009, a design was completed and site at the front of the side yard running along the side walk was chosen. Construction began in July of 2009. White wooden fencing surrounds three sides of the garden and a public sidewalk is on the fourth side. The garden now has three growing areas: Biblical Herbs and vegetables have been planted in the two front areas and Biblical flowers will be planted in the back garden area. Two white wooden benches have been constructed and memorialized. There is also small circular area in the center of the garden that is the site for a piece of metal garden art titled "The Angel Gabriel""
