Schlossansicht Obersontheim - View to the castle of Obersontheim - Picture Perfect Postcards on Waymarking.com

The postcardview shows the small castle of Obersontheim, once owned by the "Schenken von Limpurg". An old nobility dinasty which ended at the 17th century. Until 2012 the castle was used as a residential home for older handicaped people. The postcard shows the view from the other side of the small river Bühler. The postcard for this view is colorized and I suppose it is about 60 or 70 years old, maybe older. There is no date or name of photographer on the back of this card.



Die Postkarte zeigt das kleine Schloss des Ortes Obersontheim. Es gehörte einst dem Adelsgeschlecht der Schenken von Limpurg. Dieses Adelsgeschlecht starb aber wohl bereits im 17. Jahrhundert aus. Bis Ende 2012 war das Schloss als Wohnheim für behinderte Menschen genutzt. Die Postkarte zeigt den Blick von der anderen Seite des Flusses Bühler. Die Postkarte ist handcoloriert und vermutlich gute 60 oder 70 Jahre alt, vielleicht auch älter. Leider ist auf der Rückseite der Karte weder ein Datum noch ein Name des Fotografen vermerkt.

There is a small footpath very close. If you park at the parking koordinates, you can use the small bridge for crossing the river. D - die Fotos wurden aus dem Wohngebiet auf der anderen Seite des kleinen Flusses Bühler, in der Schulstraße gemacht. Am Ende eines kleinen Fußweges der in die Schulstraße mündet.
