Der Lions Club Saalfeld stiftete diese Stahl-Stele, die in der Blankenburger Straße aufgestellt wurde. Die Skulptur, die auf die Erzbergbau- und Stahltraditionen der Region Bezug nimmt, wurde von dem Künstler Josef Bzdok aus Magdeburg gebaut.
