The coat of arms is a blue lion in a circle of leaves with a crown at the top of it. It may be a real coat of arms, but more likely it is a stylized image for the pub.
A nice public house with an open fire, simple snacks and a reasonable range of beers and ales. The odd wine and the full range of spirits to behold. Not bad for a stop off.
