The pump can be found to the rear of this former school. Although not occupied, it is still maintained as witnessed by the recently placed water pump. The pump is surrounded by donated/dedicated pavers which were no doubt bought to defray the cost of placing the pump. There is a plaque on the base of the pump which reads:
Constructed By
MATTHEW TOMILSON
Boy Scout Troop 179 of Haddon Township
Supervised By
Mike Sentore, Scout master,
Helped By
Ken Tomilson, Matthew Dezi,
Mr. Dezi And Dan Penney
August 30, 2006
The pump looks authentic even though it has the 2006 date on the plaque. I imagine original pieces were used to reconstruct it. I have no idea if the pump is functioning as I did not put hands on it. Parking is available street side on the left or east end of the house, off of the main drag.
