The Town Hall of Perth City is located in the city centre. The ground floor of which now exhibits a number of historical items, and one of these is a bell. This bell is a brightly polished bronze colour, and is inscribed with the following: H.M.A.S. Perth 1939. It is my understanding that this bell was one of the ship's bells of the Australian warship HMAS Perth, which was sunk in 1942. There is no plaque indicating this, but the historical display is still under construction.
Entry to the display area is free.
