The Johnson Homestead

Edwin C. Johnson served thirty four
continuous years in public service to
Colorado; Moffat and Routt County
legislator, Lt. Governor, three times
elected governor, and eighteen
years as a United States senator.
In dedication
to all early homesteaders,
Ferne and Edwin Johnson
erected this fence and preserved what
was left of the home they built in 1910.
