This Kwakwaka'wakw Honouring Pole was carved in 1999 from a tree that came from Quatsino Sound and was aged at 553 years old. The pole is dedicated to the Coast Salish people and is found in Victoria, British Columbia.

This pole is found in Thunderbird Park adjacent to the Royal British Columbia Museum.
At the top of the pole is a Thunderbird part of the Whonnock family crest. Below is a portrait of Gideon Whonnock followed by a grey whale a Henderson family crest. The white circles represent barnacles. The upside down head in the tail represents the late Sam Henderson and the face that is in the blow hole represents Johnathan Henderson, one of the carvers.
