This memorial was placed by the Village of Breton and the Royal Canadian Legion Warburg Branch 205 in this small green space to recognize the heroic deeds in the Korean War of residents from the Village of Breton, Alberta.

Flagpoles, two stone cairns and a plaque with crosses make up this memorial to fallen peace keepers from the village and area of Breton, Alberta.

The text of the plaque includes:

In addition there is a small plaque that was added in recognition of the Korean War which simply states:

The memorial is on a small triangle of land where 52 and 53 Avenues come together at 49th Street near the middle of the town. Simple, yet important to many of the residents of this small town that they too have an opportunity to recognize the actions of member of their community. A great addition to a small plot of land.
