The mark is set into the lawn of one of the apartment complexes in this part of the city. It is located across the street from a fire hydrant, which should help one recognize the area.

DESCRIBED BY CH2M HILL INCORPORATED 1994 (JC) THE STATION IS LOCATED IN THE CITY OF MONTGOMERY, ALABAMA, WILLOW SPRINGS QUADRANGLE SECTION 7, T16N, R19E. THE STATION IS LOCATED ON BURBANK DRIVE, APPROXIMATELY 0.25 MI (0.40 KM) SOUTH OF ATLANTA HIGHWAY. THE STATION IS A MONTGOMERY COUNTY SURVEY DISK STAMPED STA. 5169 1994, AND SET IN THE TOP OF A 10 INCH DIAMETER CONCRETE MONUMENT MOUNTED FLUSH WITH THE GROUND. THE DISK IS LOCATED 52.8 FT (16.1 M) 70 DEGREES FROM A FIRE HYDRANT, AND 87.6 FT (26.7 M) 231 DEGREES FROM A LIGHT POLE.
