This survey mark is the top center of the water tower located on the southwest side of Walker Street between Sunset Avenue and US Highway 91 (I-15 Business Loop) on the northwest side of the railroad tracks in Blackfoot, Idaho.

DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1959 (WH)
AN ELEVATED STEEL WATER TANK SITUATED TOWARDS THE SOUTH LIMITS OF THE CITY OF BLACKFOOT. IT IS OF A HEMISPHERICAL TYPE, AND IS SQUAT IN APPEARANCE. THE TOP AND CENTER OF THE TANK WAS INTERSECTED.

The tank is supported by six tubular steel legs. The tank body and supporting legs are painted white with 'Blackfoot' in black letters on the northwest face of the tank.
