Le pont couvert public le plus court au Québec.
Situé dans un coin enchanteur, ce pont couvert enjambe le ruisseau Groat depuis 125 ans.
En été, profitez-en pour y faire une pause et peu-etre meme un pic nic pres du ruisseau.
Guthrie est le nom d’une famille locale qui possedaient aussi le magasin general et un garage.
Ce pont couvert fut rénové en 1992.
Il fut peint rouge alors que jusqu'a ce jour, il n'avait jamais été peint.
En 2013, l'association Geocaching Quebec (AGQ), fit fabriquer des geopieces sur lesquelles figure ce pont. De magnifiques pieces que je vous invite a aller voir sur le site de l'AGQ. S'il n'est pas trop tard, vous pourriez meme acheter les votres.

The shortest public covered bridge in Quebec.
Located in St-Armand, this covered bridge crosses the Groat stream since 125 years.
In summer, take the opportunity to take a break or even a picnic near the river.
Guthrie is the name of a local family who also possessed the general store and garage.
This covered bridge was renovated in 1992.
It was painted red, while he had never been painted before.
In 2013, Association Geocaching Quebec (AGQ), did make geocoins with the bridge appearing on it. Beautiful pieces that I invite you to have a peek at the AGQ website. If it is not too late, you could even buy your own.
