The bench out of the letters BLEIBE is located in the citycenter of Schwäbisch Hall. BLEIBE is a german word and means STAY, it can be also used in a way that means HOME or HOUSE. But from the artist it was meant in the way of STAY or have some rest.
The artist Katja Sehl was born in Schwäbisch Hall, studied artwork in Stuttgart and lives in Berlin.
The bench was originally placed at a silent little path near Schiedgraben close to the HFM-Museum. In december 2012 it was moved to todays place.

Die Bank BLEIBE der Schwäbisch Haller Künstlerin Katja Sehl besteht aus 6 Einzelbuchstaben. Sie bilden das Wort BLEIBE. Bleibe kann sowohl eine Ort zum halten oder stillstehen bedeuten oder einen Ort im Sinne von Haus oder Wohnung. Laut der Homepage der Stadt Schwäbisch Hall war es von der Künstlerin jedoch im Sinne von "verweilen" gedacht.
Die Bank war bis zum Herbst 2012 nahe des Schiedgrabens aufgestellt. Im Dezember 2012 wurde sie an den jetzigen Platz im Stadtzentrum verbracht.
