This magnificent bell outside the front of the First Baptist Church of Exeter, MO - a Southern Baptist Church - was made by National Bell Foundry Co., Cin., O. (Cincinatti, Ohio), according to the stamping on the bell yoke.
It is mounted on a short brick wall a few feet off of the ground. A wheel is used to rock the bell to ring it, which is done to let folks know that it is nearly time to start a church service.
