Our former pastor (at Prairie Hill Baptist Church) was once the past of this Southern Baptist Church in nearby Exeter, MO (named after the big city of Exeter in England). Outside the front of the church is a magnificent bell for calling folks in for each meeting. According the 1919 Minutes of the Barry County Southern Baptist Association this church was organized in 1897.
