The Lake Monjingup Pet Cemetery is managed by the Shire of Esperance. The bereaved pet owner must register the proposed burial with the Shire and purchase a grave site with concrete marker and plaque at a cost of $60 (2012).
The cemetery has some 60 or more gravesites, predominently dogs. I have included photos of two of the graves; that of Lady Warren is included because of the interesting 'Master and Hound' sculpture and the attractive coloured plaque; and that of Bruiser Lalor-Bridges, a very plain brick paved grave but with the plaque indicating that Bruiser had given his owners 20 Years of faithful Companionship.
