The full name of this national chain is "Panda Express Gourmet Chinese Food." I've thought of this as a bit contradictory - the "express" part of the name suggests what you'll really get: a limited selection of dishes prepared quickly. And to be fair, the chain meets that objective, providing a similar experience to the Chinese options within a mall or inside a grocery store. But the "gourmet" part of the title is just silly. Quick, budget-conscious food just doesn't result in gourmet eating. A better title might be "Panda Express - Inspired by Asian-American Food." At this particular location, the service is acceptably fast and if you want something quick after a shopping trip at the nearby
Wal*Mart or the hardware store, this is an option. The Beijing Beef is my "go to option" as it is spicy.
