This World War I Monument was placed by the Oliver Wiley Chapter of the D.A.R. to honor the men from Pike County who served in the World War.

This stone monument is located in the park on the town square in Troy, Alabama, next to a gazebo and not far from the Confederate Monument. It can be found at the side of the park near the intersection of Elm Street and Oak Street. According the the inscription, it was placed in 1921. Unfortunately, I was not able to find any other information about the dedication or placement.
The text reads:
Erected 1921 by the Oliver Wiley Chapter D.A.R. in honor of the men of Pike County who served in the World War 1914-1918.
