The Kings Head Inn is located in the village of Meifod, just over 13 miles from Lake Efernwy in North East Wales. The pictorial sign shows the image of a mounted man in armour, with latin text around it. It begins with 'Edward' so one one would assume, along with the pub name, that this would be the image of King Edward in battle.
The latin reads:-
"EDWARDVSDEL'GRACIA+REX:FRANCIE:ETARGLIE ET:DOSPIRVS:HIBERRIEX"
It offers accommodation, a large bar area and a building that looks about 40% plant, and the sides and front are almost entirely covered in a climber plant.
