The church of St. Michael of Schwäbisch Hall is the largest one in the city. It is situated hightend above the central marketplace and across the town hall. A large outside staircase is leading from the market place to the church. The very early parts of the church have become holy at the 10th of february 1156. Since then it got some extensions and enlargements to its today size.
The church can be visited every day between 11am and 3pm. The church tower can also be visited. It's one of the best views for the city of Schwäbisch Hall. Fee for the tower is 1€ for children, 2€ for adults, families 5€.
Die Kirche zu St. Michael in Schwäbisch Hall ist die größte Kirche der Stadt. Sie tront erhöht über dem Marktplatz der Stadt und ist von diesem über eine imposante Freitreppe erreichbar. Die ersten Grundmauern wurden bereits am 10. Februar 1156 geweiht. Im laufe der Jahrhunderte gab es mehrere Erweiterungen und Ausbauten bis zur heutigen Größe.
Die Kirche St. Michael kann normalerweise zwischen 11 und 15.00 Uhr besucht werden. Auch der Kirchturm ist begehbar. Es wird für den Zugang zum Kirchturm ein kleines Eintrittsgeld erhoben: 1€ für Kinder, 2€ für Erwachsene und 5€ für Familien.
