This cenotaph dedicated to those who gave their lives in World War I, World War II and the Korean War. It is located in front of the Legislature near the corner of Belleville and Government Streets in Victoria, British Columbia.

This cenotaph is located with a pleasant view of the activity around the harbour, museum and the Legislature Building in Victoria, British Columbia.

Knowing the schedule of the nearby carillon will help make the time that much more enjoyable. Arrive, relax and enjoy the freedom that has come with the sacrifice of the many Canadian men and women who gave their lives in the service of their country.

The grounds of the legislature allow for carefree passive recreation any day of the week and on summer weekends in particular.

Description of Memorial:
The cenotaph, with a large World War I military dressed soldier at the top, is made of granite and stands in front of the Legislature of British Columbia, as symbol of the freedom won.
