This one-story brick building was constructed shortly after the 1899 Oakland fire for Harvey James Mahoney. The building features decorative chimneys similar to the Page-Dimmick Building. It originally housed the Nonpariel Ice Cream parlor and later a telephone exchange. At the time of the district's National Register nomination, the building served as the U.S. Post Office. Today it houses and antiques and coin shop.
